BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES

Approval of Minutes
The Board of Directors reviewed the minutes of April 4, 2007. Vann Milheim made a motion to approve. Lynn Jones seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Financial Reports
Kevin Etheridge reviewed the financial reports and accounts receivables for the period ending May 31, 2007.
2006 Financial Audit
Etheridge Property Management has turned all the financial information over to CPA Mike Campbell. However, the audit is not yet complete. Kevin will send an email to Mike Campbell asking when we can expect the audit to be completed.
Architectural Control Reports
Carol Wilson provided a written report of the Architectural Committees activities during the last two months. The list included a temporary playhouse on Pine Hollow Drive and a room addition on Thistle Down Drive.
Entrance Sign
Jack Ham updated the members on the progress of the entrance sign. The entrance sign is nearly complete and should be installed within the next two weeks. Utilities and water connections are being set up. Landscaping, irrigation and lighting will follow.
Guard House
Carol Wilson emailed the directors recently concerning the county’s proposal to remove the guardhouse for $1,000.00. Vann Milheim, Carol Wilson, Jack Ham voted in favor. Lynn Jones opposed. Sandra’s fan has not responded. The motion passed. Jack Ham was asked to pursue the removal with Escambia County.
Unfinished Business
WEBSITE
Carol Wilson reported that the website is being heavily used by Marcus Pointe Homeowners. The newsletter has been posted on the website and board members were encouraged to provide input to Carol for upcoming newsletters.
COVENANT ISSUES
Carol Wilson expressed concern over several fences and one fence application on High Pointe Drive bordering the golf course. Carol Wilson will be sending information to Kevin Etheridge so that letters can be sent to these homeowners.
Etheridge Property Management will send a second notice to the owner of 30 Marcus Pointe Boulevard concerning an unapproved mailbox.
EPM will review the number of letters sent to 50 High Pointe Drive concerning conditions of the lawn and landscaping.
EPM will address the property violations for the property owned by Homeowner at 30 Marcus Pointe Blvd.
30 Marcus Pointe Boulevard has been sent several letters concerning landscaping, this matter will be turned over to the associations attorney.
New Business
Vann Milheim proposed the association send a letter to the ECUA requesting that garbage pickup within Marcus Pointe be scheduled earlier in the week to accommodate weekend yard debris accumulation. Vann will draft a letter on behalf of the association.
